A Fraser Valley evening, plainly

Chilliwack Casino Online, Valley Style

This is an independent local guide to Elements Casino Chilliwack at 8180 Young Road, not the casino's own site. It covers when each part of the place is open, what to carry at the door and how far the valley towns are.

An evening by the clock

The casino floor opens every day at 10 a.m. It closes at midnight Sunday to Thursday and at 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. Longer hours, 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. and to 2 a.m. from Friday to Sunday, are also posted. The hour before 10 a.m. and the last hour of the night are therefore uncertain: a call to 604-701-3800 settles it.

Live tables keep their own clock: Sunday and Monday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday from 4 p.m. to midnight. On Friday and Saturday they run from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., and no table hours are posted for Tuesday and Wednesday. Bingo runs Saturday and Sunday, in sessions from 11:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Holiday hours are not published, so a call is the surest check. Times are Pacific all year, so clocks no longer change.

What sits on the floor

The floor has slot machines and electronic table games, and the casino posts no count of either. The live tables carry five games: Kings Bounty Blackjack, Low Limits King Bounty Blackjack, Table Bet Blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold'em and Ruyi Baccarat. Which of them are open on a given day depends on how busy the casino is.

Minimums are set each day by business needs and game demand, so no fixed figures are published. The casino lists no poker room. A sportsbook, keno and a high-limit room are not mentioned either. Bingo is the weekend addition, with Saturday and Sunday sessions starting at 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

The Well Public House

The Well Public House is the casino's pub-style restaurant and bar. It works from four menus: a restaurant menu, a bar menu, afternoon features and late-night bites. Groups of up to 70 guests can rent it, with buffet or plated dinners, and Wi-Fi runs through the property. Its hours are not clearly posted, so a call to 604-701-3800 is the way to check.

Live music comes around weekly, with no cover charge and shows on Pacific time from 8 p.m. Shows are 19+, and you need two pieces of valid ID. The line-up sits on the casino's events page at elementscasinochilliwack.com/events and can change without notice.

The drive in from the valley

Chilliwack sits in the Fraser Valley, and the casino on Young Road lies east of Abbotsford and Mission and west of Hope. In a straight line, Mission is 24.5 km away and Abbotsford 29.9 km. Hope is 44.7 km, Maple Ridge 48.0 km and Langley City 51.9 km. From Vancouver the line runs 85.6 km.

These are straight lines between map points, not road distances and not driving times. For the actual route, the directions button opens Google Maps from the town you choose. The casino gives an address and phone number but no parking, bus or taxi details, so call 604-701-3800 before you set out.

At the door

Since June 26, 2023, everyone entering a B.C. casino must show government-issued photo ID. Security scans it and checks it against the list of people restricted from entering, such as those enrolled in Game Break. For people who are let in, the system saves no personal information. The legal age is 19.

Accepted cards include a B.C. or North American driver's licence, the BCID, the B.C. Services Card and a Canadian or international passport. Canadian citizenship and permanent resident cards count too. So do a Secure Certificate of Indian Status card, First Nations, Metis or Inuit band membership cards and government-issued foreign ID. On a music night at The Well, bring two pieces of valid ID.

A limit for the night

The limit for the night is easier to keep when it is decided at home. Pick an amount you can spare and a time to stop, and treat both as fixed. Losses are not something to win back, so the evening ends when either limit is reached.

Encore Rewards, BCLC's loyalty program, comes with PlayPlanner. That tool lets a member set personal time and money limits and track wins and losses. Without an account, a written note of the amount and the stop time does the same job.

A budget for your evening

The money for the night

Divide the money for the night by the hours you plan to stay: that is the most to spend in any one hour. When it is gone, the evening is over, whatever the clock says.

The casino since 2012

Elements Casino Chilliwack opened in 2012 under Great Canadian Entertainment. In July 2026, after all regulatory approvals were received, it passed to an entity affiliated with Ts'elxwéyeqw Tribe Management Ltd. The new owner represents participating communities of the Ts'elxwéyeqw Tribe.

Ownership is one part of the picture. In British Columbia, gambling is legal only when the provincial government runs it, and BCLC manages all commercial gambling, casinos included. The casino links to Encore Rewards, BCLC's loyalty program for BC casinos, which has four tiers from Single Diamond to Elite.

Online play in B.C.

Online gambling in B.C. follows the same rule as the casino: it is legal only when the province runs it. PlayNow.com, run by BCLC, is the only legal online gambling site in British Columbia, and players must be 19 or older. Since April 13, 2026, the Independent Gambling Control Office (IGCO) has regulated gambling in the province. The IGCO says every other online gambling site that lets BC players in operates illegally in the province.

This guide's paid links, marked Ad, lead to a private online casino partner that holds no licence or permission from British Columbia. PlayNow limits, Game Break self-exclusion and complaints to the IGCO do not apply on that site. The partner pays the guide a commission, can change and is not named on any page.
