The evening budget
A budget for your evening
The only money worth planning for a night on Young Road is money you can spend and lose without harm. The tool below takes that amount and a stop time and turns them into a pace per hour.

Decide before the drive
Settle two things at home, before the drive in: an amount of money and a time to leave. Write them down if that helps. A number picked at the kitchen table is easier to keep than one picked halfway through the night.
The floor closes at midnight Sunday to Thursday and at 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. Longer hours are also posted, so a call to 604-701-3800 settles the last hour. Your own stop time comes first, and closing time is only the outer edge. A limit is about what you spend. It is never a target for winning back money already gone.
The money for the night
Divide the money for the night by the hours you plan to stay: that is the most to spend in any one hour. When it is gone, the evening is over, whatever the clock says.
PlayPlanner, set up in advance
PlayPlanner is BCLC's limit tool, and it comes with Encore Rewards, BCLC's loyalty program for BC casinos. With it, a member sets personal time and money limits and keeps track of wins and losses. That record shows what an evening actually cost, rather than what it seemed to cost. Encore Rewards membership is free and can be set up online or at the casino on Young Road. The casino's own site links to the program.
Where to get help
- Gambling Support BC answers at 1-888-795-6111 at no cost, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is online at gamblingsupportbc.ca. It is confidential and helps anyone in British Columbia, including people affected by someone else's gambling.
- Game Break is BCLC's voluntary self-exclusion program: terms are 6 months, 1 year, 2 years or 3 years, fixed once chosen. People enrol in person with government-issued photo ID at any casino, community gaming centre or commercial bingo hall.
- A GameSense Advisor is available in every casino in British Columbia, the one on Young Road included. At Game Break enrolment, a GameSense Advisor or staff member guides the process and takes a photo.
About the Young Road desk
This guide is written and signed collectively as the Young Road desk. No page carries a personal byline, and the name stands for the editorial team rather than a person. Facts were checked on October 13, 2026, against the casino's own pages, the owner's announcement, BCLC and the province of British Columbia. Times are Pacific time. Every distance is a straight line between map points from OpenStreetMap, not a road distance or a driving time.
The pictures are generated scenes of the valley, the town and rooms like the casino's. They show no real people, no logos and no signs. The site has no forms, comments or accounts. It keeps nothing about readers except the colour theme chosen in the open browser tab.
